A brief intro to the REAL Steve Sedgwick.
Steve has served the Edmonton community as a Realtor since 2001. He is a tech savvy agent that pursues ongoing education and maximizes the use of technology to better serve his clients. That being said, Steve is more than happy to conduct business the "old fashioned way" on paper and in person. He is quoted as saying "High tech is meaningless if you don't have a high touch component to your business. It's not about how much you know, but how much you care."
Client care is of the utmost importance to him and he is proud to have gained many new friends that began as clients throughout his career.
When Steve isn't busy as an award winning real estate agent he loves spending time with his young family. He loves to barbecue and experiment with the smoker when he's not taking in a movie with the family or relaxing in the yard he loves to maintain. Steve is also an avid motorsports enthusiast with a passion for hot rods, motorcycles, and many forms of racing. The Sedgwick genetics have him predisposed to tinkering and building things in the shop when time allows. Through the summer months you will find him adventuring and camping with the family as often as possible & getting out for the occasional motorcycle tour.

For 2019 Steve wanted to put his experience to work with a new challenge and as such teamed up with Realty One Group Insider. Realty One Group is the fastest growing real estate company in North America and presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of this new to Canada start-up. By applying his 18 years of experience, and improving upon his already exceptional service offerings, Steve looks forward to continuing to build more, and stronger, client relationships throughout the coming years.

Royal LePage Noralta Real Estate (2001 through 2018)
Steve began his real estate career in August of 2001 and by delivering exceptionally high quality customer service built a dedicated client base. His strong work ethic resulted in Steve receiving the Presidents Gold Award (top 10% of all Royal LePage agents throughout Canada) and the Directors Platinum Award (top 5% nationwide) consistently since 2006.
Leadership & Volunteering
Steve volunteered with the Realtors Association of Edmonton as a member of the Technology Committee from 2004 to 2012 and is a leading edge technology enthusiast. Steve was elected by his peers to serve a 3 year term on the Member Services Committee from 2007 through 2010 and served as co-chair for the committee in the final year. Serving on those committees provided him with broad insight to the real estate industry and has allowed him the opportunity to facilitate positive change from within.
After being elected to the Board of Directors for the Realtors Association of Edmonton in 2012 he served as Chair of the Technology Committee for 2013 & 2014 during which he lead the MLS RFP Team to the successful implementation of our new Paragon MLS system. He was elected by the Board to the executive positions of Vice Chair for 2014, Chair Elect for 2015, Chairman of the Board for 2016, and concluded his duties on the Realtors Association of Edmonton Board of Directors as Past Chair in 2017.
Over the years Steve has served on numerous committees & sub-committees within the Realtors Association of Edmonton, with the Alberta Real Estate Association, and served on the Federal Affairs Committee for the Canadian Real Estate Association in 2018. Despite the often demanding schedule Steve still finds time to volunteer with a variety of causes and organizations within his community as well.
